Dr .D.Y.Patil College of Ayurved & Research Institute is established in the year 2004.This Institute is amongst one of the few institutes in India where medium of language is English. Institute is imparting Ayurvedic knowledge through Audio-visual aids like OHP, Computers, Laptops, LCD projectorsetc. In such a short span, this institute has grown into self contained institute with the aid of latest instruments and equipments in diagnosis and treatment. This well equipped 300 bedded hospital represents eight special branches of Ayurved.

The increased incidence of heart diseases in India is the biggest threat of all, which needs urgent preventive measure. Heart disease is the number one killer in most developed & developing countries. About forty years ago, heart disease was No.7 on the list of killer. It has moved very rapidly to its present third position.

On the basis of many epidemiological surveys, Diabetes, Hypertension, Obesity, Sedentary lifestyle & Stress have been identified as the causes of cardiac disorders. Though different modalities are available in modern sciences, Ayurved has enormous treasure of lifestyle, treatment, diet planning, medicines, panchkarma, yoga etc. for cardiac disorders.

i) Clinical evidence having statistical significance will be given priority.

ii) Last date of submission of abstract ( 200 words) will be 12/1/2010.

iii) Full text of the paper (1500-2000 words) should reach by 30/1/2010.

iv) The script should be printed on A4 size paper in Times New Roman Font, having size 12.

v) The scientific review committee’s decision with regards to the selection of papers for presentation will be final.

vi) Paper presentation should be in English only.

vii) The article with abstract may be submitted by email & 3 hard copies must be sent by post.
