Department of Sharir Kriya has been established in October 2004. This department deals with the physiology  anatomaical structure. Knowledge of this subject is important  for Physician for proper diagnosis of various diseases.Sharir Kriya department has total 4 faculty members which consist  Professor  1, Reader  1 & Lecturer  1.The staff is well adequate & the faculty members are always trying to do the best in teaching by going through various types of texts, information on internet about the subject related. Student profile according to programmes of study, gender, region, entry level competencies, socioeconomic status, language proficiency etc.Department total intake in First Year is 100. Students are admitted after selection in AIET.exam. In the academic year 2008-09 total 60 students are admitted. Among them 19 students are Male & 41 students are Female. Out of 60 students 5 Male students are from other state & rest of 55 students are from same state. Most of the students are from middle class Socioeconomic status. Medium for subject teaching is English.Department  is following  curriculum as per central council  of  Indian medicines,  and regular  addition and updates are done with the conservative medicine.

Partcipation of the department in the extension activities of the university-Dr.  shruti  Phatak  has  contributed  as  singing   invocation   for  various   events  of  University  like  Convocation ,  Celebration  of  Platinum  jubilee  of   Medical   council   etc.

Plan of action of the department for the next five years

• Planning for post graduation course in the subjest.
• Continue lecture tutorials for Assessment of students at regular period
• Organize lecture series for the betterment of students
• Conduct research project in collaboration with other institute.
• Department plans for getting prepared a software of prakruti evaluation.                                         

Methods of continuous student assessment-At regular interval, tutorials are taken to assess the students   Internal assessment exams are being taken after each term.
